Artwork for the reissue of Sunday‘s Best‘s EP Where You Are Now, on Thirty Something Records originally released on CD by Crank! Such a good band, and again, a great release! First I was wondering what to make of the original artwork on the CD with that tiny picture of the kissing couple, but rasterizing the photo and blowing it up worked out surprisingly well and I‘m really happy with how it turned out!
Artwork for the reissue of Camber‘s album Beautiful Charade on Thirty Something Records, originally released on Deep Elm Records. We made a cut out frame in the cover that shows the painting from the original artwork on the inner sleeve. The vinyl colours are beautiful, everything came out really nice and I couldn’t be happier with this.
Design for the reissue of Universal by Downset on End Hits Records. The album comes out on vinyl for the first time – I had the opportunity the create an all new artwork while trying to incoroporate some elements from the original look, which was a lot of fun. And it comes with some really nice vinyl colours of course.

Layout for the European version of Stick To Your Gun‘s new album „Spectre“ on End Hits Records. Adaption of the original artwork and a nice limited edition screenprint. The deluxe version included a bonus live LP with extra printed inner sleeves. Plus some really nice vinyl colours.
Alternate album artwork for Nathan Gray And The Iron Roses on Iodine Recordings licenced by End Hits Records. For the US version of Rebel Songs we made a new colorway that turned out really nice plus some new vinyl colors. The music is great, as before.

I had the chance to design two albums from scratch that were never released on vinyl before. With amazing original photos from the 70s and exclusive liner notes we created a new vintage look for these classics – beautiful vinyl colors included. I love it when a design works in a series of albums. As you can guess, I am a fan 😉

Artwork for the deluxe version of the European release of the new Hot Water Music album „Feel the Void“ on End Hits Records. We made a die cut on the cover to frame the printed inner sleeve with the album artwork. When pulled out, it reveals the HWM logo – printed on the inside of the jacket. This was fun and turned out really nice!⠀⠀

Artwork for Rebel Psalms by Nathan Gray on End Hits Records – the sister EP of Rebel Songs. I love serial designs that fit together. And I managed to sneak in a photo our house with my wife and daughter waving from the window. 1-sided EP in beautiful colours with a nice screenprint on the vinyl. The photos of houses from the neighbourhood of Elkton and Darmstadt are by Nathan and me.

Adaption of the European version of the new Terror album „Pain Into Power“ for End Hits Records. When we got the original artwork for this, we wanted to do something special: an all black cover with the artwork as a transparent lacquer, housed in a PVC sleeve printed in white. I was a little nervous if this would work out. It did. On top there‘s a beautiful picture disc special edition.

Darmstadt photographer Nouki made photos of and texts about people affected by Covid: DJs, bar owners, actors, musicians or bookers that could not live out their passion any more. A declaration of love to culture and night life. I am glad I was able to contribute to this project.

Design for an LP-box for Funeral For A Friend on Ed Hits Records. Includes the band‘s first three albums and a 40-page booklet with photos, memorabilia and liner notes by Jan Schwarzkamp. Plus some fancy spot laquer on the matte black box. Oh, almost forgot the screenprint on the d-side of Tales Don‘t Tell Themselves.
Such a joy to work on this beautiful project: a book with photos and texts from the End Hits Tour at the beginning of 2020, right before the pandemic hit. Nobody knew this should be the last time they were to perform on stage for a long time…
Artwork for the LP-sampler for the 2020 End Hits Records tour. At the beginning of this year, nobody knew what would soon hit us all and especially the world of music and live shows. For the bands and artists this would be the last time they’d be on a stage for quite a while. I’m happy to have contributed to this celebration of friendship and joy.

Design of the the album When 20 Summers Pass for Shelter as a reissue on End Hits Records. I could not be happier with this. A beautiful package including a deluxe gatefold with a cool pop-up in the middle, a screenprinted bonus-LP, a picture LP, a CD, a cool poster by Jared Gaines, and a fanzine.
Design for the screenprint edition of „When 20 Summers Pass“ for Shelter on End Hits Records. Eric Him made the illustrations and they were printed by the fine guys from Black Ink Berlin. The deluxe edition is coming with a real cool poster by Jared Gaines. Amazing to work with so many talented people on this!
First off, the album artwork is not my design but from one of my heroes, John Yates. I was asked to do the European version of the debut album of Be Well plus the adaption on CD, tape and a limited edition silkscreen cover (the blue one you can see above). So great to have worked on this awesome release!
Album artwork and photos for the debut abum of Ambrose on Defiance Records. Fun fact: the printer somehow messed up the colours and the cover of the LP came out as blue instead of the sepia tone the CD had. Anyway, this way we had two different versions – collector’s paradise 😉
